About a year ago my husband bought a metal straw for his big drink mug so when I seen these I was excited. These straws are made of a nice stainless steel and are super long and longer than I expected. I have a tumbler cup and the straw sticks out about five inches or so from the top which is great. I also love the ones that have a bend to them this makes it easier to drink while you are sitting. Another big plus is it comes with a cleaning tool. This has come in handy since we like to mix up our drinks. They are also very strong. My son likes to chew on his straws but so far these have held up with no teeth marks. I think it is also cool how you can feel the cold though the straw when you drink so I would not recommend drinking hot liquids though it as I am sure it would get very hot.
