I never knew that a modern computer would not have bluetooth until I looked at my own and seen it didn't offer that feature. I really wanted to use the many headphones that I have laying around so I got this adapter. The adapter is well made with an metal outer shell and a strong plastic on the inside and is the common USB type plug in. It came with software which was very easy to install and didn't take to long. Once the software is installed you just plug in the USB and turn on your device and connect. You are able to search for the device if it doesn't come up right away which isn't hard to do. It does remember your device as well so you do not have to do this each time. Once it is connected it works great and doesn't drop sound at all. The USB blinks blue which I like because I know it working and connected. Overall this is a very well made bluetooth USB adapter.
