My husband is ex military and loves riding motorcycles and really needed a new pair of gloves. These gloves are perfect for him. They are made of a nice material which isn't too heavy or too light. The knuckles are made of a nice hard plastic that will give you nice protection for when he is riding his bike or shooting his gun. They fit his hands nicely and covered just enough of the wrist without hindering movement which is important for when he is riding. When my husband took them out on his bike he said they didn't slip and they where not too hot either which is important for the summer months. Since it isn't winter yet I can't say how warm these will be but they seem thick enough to add some warmth. Overall he is very pleased with these gloves and he has gotten a lot of good use out of them so far.
