I love coffee but I will admit I don't like my counters being cluttered so I can't stand having a big bulky machine to make coffee. I have heard of french presses but I wasn't sure how to use it or if it would make a good cup of coffee. So when I had the chance to try out the High Quality French Press Coffee Maker And Measuring Spoon - Large Brewer Makes 34 Ounces of Coffee - Made with Strong and Thick Glass Carafe I was hopeful.
So since I never used one before I can't really compare it to other ones. And I will admit when I received it I did goggle it to see how to use it. Many of the videos suggested using whole beans and grinding the beans yourself. Well I am a bit lazy so I decided to try it with already ground coffee. But I made sure to buy a high quality brand as I wanted to make sure I got as good as experience as I could.
Here are the steps that I did to prepare my coffee:
I took hot tap water and put it in the french press, the point of this is if you put hot liquid (especially boiling) it could shatter the glass. I let it sit as I boiled my water. Once my water was boiled I poured out the water that was in the press and put my coffee grounds in. I measured to the bag. I then added the correct amount of water, stirred the coffee and put the lid on. I waited for about four minutes then gently pushed down on the plunger. Then poured my coffee.
The outcome? The best coffee I have honestly ever made at home! This has been the best item I have ever tested. So if you don't have a french press or if you have one and want a great one then head over today and check out this one! I promise you won't be disappointed!
