Bear with me here this one is going to be a long one but well worth it!
Come one, come all! I have found the most unique and fun outdoor lights! Unlike other lights which have been battery powered or solar powered these lights are powered by salt water! So I will admit when I first got these I was pretty skeptical, I wasn't sure if they would actually work and if I could keep them outside plus I was a little intimidated by the setup, as the instructions made it seem complicated. So I opened up my box and took out my Landlite Saline Water powered LED string / starry light for indoor/outdoor decoration, holiday / Xmas / Novelty / Utra safe LED string starry lights (39FT-100LEDs Warmwhite).
I opened the lid and noticed a metal rod in the middle, things started to make sense! This was chemistry in the making. So it said to add salt to a baggie and then pour it into the base. Then you add water, put the lid back on and shake gently. Then you make sure a little pop off is open and you push the button. And guess what? They lite right up and being day time they where bright too! So that day I put them out on my porch and there was plenty to cover the area I wanted. I left them on over night and we ended up having a real bad rain/thunderstorm. I was a bit concerned but when I woke up they where still going strong and are as bright as ever.
Key Points:
These run on salt water. Make sure you add more salt during colder months
They are very bright and have two modes: Constant on and blinking
This set is very long
They are waterproof and handled an all night rain and still worked
I do turn mine off in the morning but it states it will last seven days and you will have to add more salt water.
