As a photographer I take a lot of pictures, both on my pro camera and my phone so I needed something that I can use on the go to save the extra photos that I take while we travel. This cord connected very easily to my phone. It came with an adapter for a micro usb which was a nice touch but also fits a standard SD card. Once the card is inserted it is picked up right away. The cord is made of a nice material and seems like it will hold up well in my purse while I am traveling. Overall this is a great card reader and I would highly recommend it to those who are like me and take a lot of photo!
